Ell, haven't confirmed any new stations yet this year. I just wanted to let Stu know that I counted my current DX inventory and I currently have 62 stations. I heard what sounded like a spanish station on 1590 during lunch today and I thought I heard them say Seattle but its supposed to be a foreign language religious station. I need to confirm this. Hea.

Yesterday, KSL had their HD radio signal off and I was able to get a new station, KSEN 1150 from Shelby, MT. Stu you should get this easy, unless KSL's IBOC trashes that far. Its an oldies station that mentions Montana towns and businesses often.

Ell, surprised you haven't gotten anything new lately, you need to DX at night, should get tons of new stations.

We are going to Florida for vacation in a couple weeks, I might DX Cuba and the Caribbean from the Florida Keys.

I am going to Mesquite, NV for a KBER live show this week (either thurs or Fri, I don't know yet) so I might check AM briefly down there.

I don't think I will make a separate page for it, I will just report here what I hear, and it will be quick and dirty flatch.

I haven't done too much DXing at night. Either I am too busy or too relaxed to DX and flatch at the same time. I did get some stations today, however, and these will be the first from Grangeville in 2010.

First up, I got 1210 KTBK, Auburn-Federal Way, WA, Regional Hexican. It was coming in fairly clear this morning.




On the way home from work, I got 1080 KFXX, Portland, OR, Sports. I was trying to get KVNI from Coeur d Alene but nothing was coming in that sounded like it.



On a sadder DXer note, I have been trying to get 1620 KBLK from Blackfoot but it is no longer on the air. It doesn't show up on Radiolocator anymore and I can't hear it. The DX book I got you (Stu) for Christmas is already wrong on that one.

That's the sign of the times. When the economy sucks and you have a worthless station on the air, you pull it. Several Utah stations have gone that route, but one came back on the air recently. 1470 KNFL Tremonton.

Ell got two new stations today but first a correction. I noticed the Country Orofino ID station is listed as 1350. It is actually 1300. Today i got,

1100 KFAX, San Francisco, CA, Religious



1350, KRLC, Lewiston, ID, Country.



Radio Locator mentions this as in Clarkston Lewiston but the tower is in Lewiston.

Another one to add onto the 01/08/10 list. I just heard 1100 KNZZ, Grand Junction, CO, Conservative Diarrhea talk. I picked it up on my directional Radio Shack radio.

Yep, Saturday Night is Alright for DXing. I got two tonight, both from Canada.

930 CJCA, Edmonton, AB, Religious. There were some Stu's on there rocking out with their cocks out to Jesus.

I also got 890 CJDC, Dawson Creek, BC, Country. It was coming in fairly clear and this marks the Farthest North station for Gville so far.
