As we sat there, we noticed this bright light coming towards us slowly in the distance. At closer inspection, it looked like three bright lights close together in a cluster. It got closer and it looked like it was moving through some haze or smog from LA. All of the sudden, two new lights appeared which made it look like one of those Triangle UFOs you always hear about on Art Bell or the ones they see over Phoenix. The bright lights were on the bottom and there were two dimmer lights at the upper end of the triangle. See Picture. It looked like that only without the middle light.
It seemed like it was far away (maybe 30-40 miles) but moving toward us slowly. It then began to dissapear slowly and we never saw it again
We both saw it and talked about it for a while and decided to get a radio to DX for Art Hess coast to coast and see if anyone else reported it. Later on that night probably around 12:30 PST , two lights appeared out of nowhere in the same airspace that the Triangle UFO was, This time it looked like the two lights were flying in formation and moving away for us at a faster speed than the triangle. It looked liked they were heading northeast toward 29 Palms and they were flying in perfect formation over the Little San Bernardino mountains. A third light never appeared so we don't think this was a triangle UFO, but just like the Triangle UFO, these two objects began to fade as they moved northeast and soon we lost track of them because they went behind a bunch of palm trees. This UFO sighting is NOT made up and like I said before Leeroy can confirm it.
